PT ADI Perdana Nusantara (ADIPNS) is currently looking for an experienced Senior Agronomist to join our client, a company in the tobacco industry, based in Jember, East Java.
This position is ideal for an experienced Agronomist who is passionate about agriculture, tobacco production, horticulture techniques, and continuous improvement, and is ready to develop toward a leadership role within the Agronomy Department.
🌱 Key Responsibilities
• Support the General Manager in daily tobacco production activities
• Support the implementation and improvement of production techniques, including irrigation, fertigation, curing, and cultivation practices
• Plan and organize cultivation trials and agronomy experiments
• Monitor and evaluate trial results to improve tobacco quality and production techniques
• Lead and coordinate field workers involved in cultivation trials and experiments
• Support the continuous improvement of tobacco quality and agricultural productivity
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor Degree (S1) in Agronomy, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Agronomist in agriculture/agro-industry
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in agricultural/horticultural techniques
• Experienced in irrigation and fertigation
• Strong experience leading field supervisors and workers
• Strong interest in developing new agronomy and production techniques
• Willing to work onsite in Jember and adapt to a relatively remote/simple working environment
• Open-minded, proactive, disciplined, persistent, and hands-on
• Strong leadership potential and good interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with foreign cultures and international teams
🌎 Language Requirements
• Bahasa Indonesia: Native
• English: Proficient spoken and good written English
• Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage
