Job description for SENIOR ACCOUNTING TAX at PT Asia Pasifik Logistik
We are looking for experienced tax and accounting professionals to join our dynamic team.
This position requires a deep understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Candidates should have experience in tax; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Proficient in E-SPT (CORETAX), E-Faktur, Microsoft Excel, Accurate, and related applications.
• Understands the preparation and review of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Proficient in bank reconciliation, adjusting journal entries, month-end closing procedures, and the preparation of financial statements.
• Understand Indonesian taxation, including SP2DK, Article 21 Income Tax, Article 23 Income Tax, Final Income Tax under Article 4(2), Value-Added Tax (VAT), Periodic Tax Returns, Annual Corporate Tax Returns, and tax adjustments.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and identify potential recording errors and tax risks.
• Ability to review the work of junior staff and provide professional guidance.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous, responsible, highly principled, and able to work toward goals and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare and review clients’ financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement)
• Review journal entries and perform end-of-period adjustments
• Ensure that bank reconciliations and the recording of transactions are done correctly
• Handle the company’s monthly and annual tax filings
• Review periodic and annual tax returns
• Perform tax adjustments and ensure client tax compliance
• Provide guidance to junior staff regarding accounting and tax work
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
• Willing to work on holidays **if necessary
• Willing to work Monday through Saturday
• Willing to travel for business
