Job Description
a. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage and review General Ledger (GL) entries, account reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in a timely manner.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Billing Reports, Revenue Reports, and other management reports.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, reliable, and submitted within established deadlines.
b. Accounts Receivable & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including aging analysis and collection follow-up for overdue receivables.
- Analyze financial data and recommend strategies to improve cash flow and working capital efficiency.
- Support management in forecasting cash requirements and optimizing financial resources.
c. Capital & Business Investment Accounting
- Maintain and oversee accounting records related to business capital, investments, shareholders' equity, and financing transactions.
- Ensure proper bookkeeping and reporting of company capital structures, capital injections, and investment-related activities.
- Support management in financial planning and capital utilization analysis.
d. Audit, Compliance & Internal Control
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities by preparing required schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
• Ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Strengthen accounting procedures and internal control systems to minimize financial and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK), tax regulations, and company policies.
e. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
• Collaborate closely with the Tax Division to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Review and maintain proper Withholding Tax (WHT) records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in tax audits, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting requirements.
f. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to accounting team members.
• Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Operations, Procurement, and other departments to gather financial information and improve accounting processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness within the accounting function.
• Communicate effectively with local management and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders regarding financial matters and reporting requirements.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required; Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) for business communication and reporting purposes.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS/SAK), financial reporting, and accounting processes.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT).
• Proven experience in General Ledger management, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting for business capital, investments, and corporate financing transactions.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Financial Functions, and data analysis tools).
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
Certifications
• Possession of Brevet A & B certificationwill be an advantage.
• Additional professional certifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
