Manages the Finance Support team who is responsible for processing invoices received from suppliers, and reconciliating payments received from customers with our internal reports.

Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for existing staff and conducts performance evaluation

Prepare monthly financial statements that comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards

Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.

Oversees reconciliation work performed by Finance Support team.

Resolves those issues picked up by the Finance Support team with the relevant teams (Finance team in Singapore, Operations or Commercial teams located in Batam etc)

Coordinates with local auditor and tax agent for statutory accounts and tax filing  

Presents recommendations to Finance team in Singapore on potential improvements to work processes or policies.

Performs other ad hoc duties as necessary or assigned.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

Five years or more of related experience required.
