Job description for Security Analyst (MSE /SOC/L2) at PT. Global Infotech Solution
Hi connections, we are currently hiring for a Security Analyst/Security Engineer/SOC/L2 position with a focus on Managed Service Engineers with a customer-centric approach.
Here are the responsibilities and qualifications we are looking for:
Responsibility:
- Work as an onsite Managed Service Engineer at designated location to support daily security related task
- Monitor, assess, and analyze dashboards and alerts from assigned security tools.
- Investigate potential security incidents and perform incident response activities, including escalation to relevant support teams when necessary.
- Identify, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats.
- Conduct proactive, hypothesis-driven threat hunting and threat discovery activities.
- Improve cybersecurity systems by reducing false positives.
- Support the development and enhancement of SOC incident response capabilities.
- Execute both daily operational tasks and ad hoc (cyber) security-related activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, system, and application teams during implementation and troubleshooting activities.
MSE Security qualification:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
- Strong knowledge of IT security in general and cybersecurity concepts in particular.
- Strong hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations.
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms such as Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and Threat Hunting solutions.
- Familiar with SIEM, EDR, firewall, and endpoint security solutions.
- Familiar with security monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot security incidents effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts or provide on-call support when required.
* Familiarity with products such Cyble, ShadowDragon, Guardsquare, and SecIron is an advantage.
• Cybersecurity-related certifications will be an advantage.
