Job description for Scrum Master at Sagara Technology
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support sprint planning and execution, and ensure effective communication between Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders. You will help teams overcome challenges, monitor sprint performance, and promote Agile best practices to achieve sprint goals and improve team efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
2. Monitor sprint progress and support the team in achieving sprint goals.
3. Identify, track, and help resolve impediments affecting team productivity and delivery.
4. Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to maintain alignment on project priorities.
5. Track sprint metrics, including velocity, burndown charts, and sprint performance.
6. Facilitate retrospectives and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Promote Agile/Scrum principles and encourage effective team collaboration.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile project delivery role.
3. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and software development processes.
4. Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
5. Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support cross-functional development teams.
6. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Ability to identify impediments, monitor sprint metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
8. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
