MataTV is looking for a Micro-Drama Scriptwriter!
We’re looking for a scriptwriter who’s ready to turn big emotions and wild plot twists into binge worthy micro dramas. If you love creating stories that hook people from the first line and keep them talking long after the credits roll, we want to hear from you.
This role is for you if you:
• Have solid storytelling instincts and understand dramatic structure
• Can write sharp, engaging, and emotionally impactful scripts
• Familiar with short-form drama (vertical drama / microdrama) is a must
• Have experience writing online novels (Wattpad or similar platforms)
• Can adapt and localize stories into compelling Indonesian narratives
• Are comfortable working under tight deadlines
Role Description:
• Write and develop scripts
• Adapt stories from chinese micro dramas or novels into script format
• Localize existing stories into Indonesian culture
• Collaborate with the team to refine pacing and story direction
Requirements:
• Experience in scriptwriting (film, series, or sinetron)
• Experience writing online novels is a strong advantage
• Strong sense of pacing, conflict, and character
• Able to take feedback and iterate quickly
