Bee Smart Education Center is seeking a dynamic Math & Science Instructor specialized in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In this role, you will deliver high-impact, personalized instruction that simplifies complex STEM concepts and drives top student performance on international board exams.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-impact, board-aligned lessons (covering National, Cambridge IGCSE, O-Level, and A-Level) that demystify complex Mathematics and Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) concepts, guiding students through rigorous multi-step problem solving and detailed biological analysis.
- Train students in crucial exam techniques, including step-by-step mathematical working, structured science essay responses, precise scientific diagramming, and time management across various exam formats.
- Track student performance through regular mock exams, specifically monitoring calculation accuracy in high-level Math and conceptual mastery in complex all science topics.
- Provide clear, professional progress reports to both center management and parents, explaining technical scientific and mathematical progress in accessible terms.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, breaking down abstract mathematical theorems, algebraic structures, and intricate science processes for students encountering them for the first time.
- Develop proprietary practice question banks, mock exam papers, and topical worksheets tailored to the specific nuances and command words of both National and Cambridge exam boards.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree specifically in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and/or Math Education.
- Fresh graduates are welcome! Any prior experience teaching or mentoring in a private, group, or classroom setting is a great plus.
- Able to commit to a full-time schedule: Monday–Friday (full-day) and Saturday (half-day).
- Fluent English with the ability to translate dense, complex math and science concepts into simple, engaging lessons.
- Critical thinking skills and a sharp eye to quickly spot student errors in math and science materials.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through seamless internal teamwork and professional, confident discussions with parents regarding student progress and exam preparation.
