President Junior High School is looking for a dedicated and empathetic School Counselor to support students’ academic, personal, social, and emotional development. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young learners, able to build positive relationships with students, and capable of providing effective guidance and counseling in collaboration with teachers, parents, and school management.
Job Description:
- Provide individual and group guidance and counseling services for junior high school students.
- Develop and implement the school guidance and counseling program.
- Identify students’ academic, personal, social, and behavioral needs and provide appropriate support.
- Assist students in developing effective learning habits, self-awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- Provide educational and career guidance to support students in making informed future choices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school management in supporting students’ development and well-being.
- Maintain proper counseling records and follow up on students who require additional support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling / Counseling Education or a related relevant field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of teaching or school counseling experience is preferred.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patient, empathetic, responsible, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a school team.
- Enjoy working with junior high school students and supporting their academic, social, and personal development.
- Physically and mentally fit to perform the responsibilities of the position.
