-As a Team Leader – Sales Canvassing, you will lead and develop a team of Field Sales representatives to expand our customer network and drive sales growth across Pasar Senen, Mangga Dua, and Tanah Abang. You will be responsible for executing field sales strategies, ensuring team target achievement, coaching and developing team members, and building strong, long-term relationships with customers.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record in field sales, passionate about developing high-performing teams, and driven by achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop the Sales Canvassing team to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Design and implement effective field sales and canvassing strategies based on market potential within the assigned territory.
- Monitor team performance, conduct regular coaching sessions, and provide ongoing feedback to improve productivity.
- Accompany the team on customer visits to acquire new clients and expand market coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to increase customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Ensure all sales activities are carried out in accordance with company SOPs and service standards.
- Analyze market opportunities, competitor activities, and customer trends to recommend effective sales strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on team performance, sales activities, pipeline, and target achievement for management.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Senior High School/Vocational High School (SMA/SMK); Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) is an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sales Team Leader/Sales Supervisor, or 1 years of experience as a Sales Canvasser or Field Sales representative. Experience in logistics, courier services, freight forwarding, distribution, FMCG, or B2B sales is highly preferred.
- Proven experience leading, building, and developing a sales team while consistently achieving sales targets.
- Strong ability to recruit, coach, mentor, conduct daily briefings, and evaluate team performance.
- Experienced in developing and executing effective field sales and canvassing strategies.
- Proven track record in acquiring new B2B/B2C customers while maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Highly target-driven with strong leadership skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prepare sales reports, monitor the sales pipeline, and analyze team performance.
- Familiar with commercial trading areas such as Pasar Senen, Mangga Dua, and Tanah Abang, with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities within these markets.
- Having an established business network or relationships with merchants in the assigned area is a strong advantage.
- Willing to work in the field, conduct customer visits, and actively support the team during canvassing activities.
- Own vehicle and a valid SIM A or SIM C driver's license are preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience using CRM systems or sales reporting tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrates high integrity, discipline, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, while serving as a role model for the team.
- Willing to be assigned to Pasar Senen, Mangga Dua, or Tanah Abang.
- Candidates with an existing sales team ready to join will be given additional consideration.
