About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor Freight Forwarding to join our dynamic team at PT. Milenial Solusi Internusa', a leading player in the freight forwarding industry. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and driving revenue growth for our freight forwarding services in the South Tangerang Banten region.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing customer relationships
- Managing a team of sales professionals, providing mentorship, training and performance coaching
- Analysing market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of freight forwarding services
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Contributing to the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales supervisor or management role within the freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) and sales reporting tools
- Team leadership and people management skills to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
- Familiarity with freight forwarding processes, regulations and industry best practices
