R.O.L.E. Foundation (Rivers, Oceans, Lands and Ecology) is a nonprofit organization based in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, focused on environmental education and community empowerment. The foundation works with local people and businesses to improve their surrounding environment and support sustainable community development. It operates two main skills centers: Bali WISE, which provides skills education for marginalized communities in Indonesia, and the ZeroWaste Center, which offers environmental knowledge and waste management training for local communities and businesses. Through these programs, R.O.L.E. Foundation promotes practical, sustainable solutions that can be applied in daily life.
Role Description The Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role located in Nusa Dua, Bali. This position is responsible for promoting R.O.L.E. Foundation’s programs and services to local businesses, partners, and supporters, with the goal of increasing participation, sponsorships, and donations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and contacting potential partners, presenting program benefits, following up on leads, and maintaining relationships with existing supporters. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to understand program offerings, preparing basic sales materials, and updating records of outreach activities. The Sales Representative will help strengthen the foundation’s network and contribute to the growth of its environmental and community initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with local businesses, community members, and partners.
- Basic sales, customer relationship, and negotiation skills to present programs and secure commitments.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle outreach activities, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Interest in environmental sustainability, community development, and nonprofit work.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is an advantage.
- Previous experience in sales, fundraising, or community outreach is beneficial.
- High level of integrity, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to R.O.L.E. Foundation’s mission.
