Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients and business partners to develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Develop comprehensive business proposals and quotations aligned with client requirements
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business development opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to new clients
- Track sales progress, maintain accurate sales records, and report on key performance indicators
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads
- Provide feedback from the market to inform product and service improvements
What we're looking for
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) is essential; English proficiency is highly desirable
- Proven track record in sales or new business development, ideally within a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and client relationship management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Experience in identifying and qualifying sales leads through various channels
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity when engaging with Mandarin-speaking markets
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to overcome objections and challenges
- Relevant sales certifications or qualifications are a plus
