About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join PT KCC Glass Indonesia in Jakarta Pusat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in driving sales growth and revenue generation for our organisation. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of targets whilst maintaining strong client relationships. This role is fundamental to the success of our sales operations and directly contributes to the company's overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Lead, motivate and manage the sales team, providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback to drive individual and team excellence
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments to expand the company's customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports and analysis to senior management on a regular basis
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer demands to inform sales strategy adjustments
- Collaborate with marketing, operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience
- Recruit, train and develop sales staff to build a high-performing team capable of meeting business objectives
- Manage sales budgets and resources efficiently whilst maximising profitability and return on investment
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in sales management or a similar leadership role within the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage key accounts
- Proficiency in sales management tools, customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in Indonesian and English is essential
- Knowledge of the glass industry or building materials sector is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related discipline
- Willing to be assigned to the Company's office in Jakarta or Semarang
