## About the Company
PT Legend Shipping Agencies is a company specializing in NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) and Freight Forwarding services, providing international shipping and logistics solutions to customers.
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales activities, develop new business opportunities, and expand our customer base in the NVOCC and Freight Forwarding industry.
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and overall sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers, including exporters, importers, manufacturers, and logistics companies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and business partners.
- Promote the company's NVOCC and Freight Forwarding services, including FCL, LCL, import, and export solutions.
- Prepare competitive freight quotations, negotiate rates, and secure profitable business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate developments.
- Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
- Conduct customer visits and business meetings to strengthen customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Sales Management or Business Development, preferably in NVOCC, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing profitable business opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, ocean freight, FCL, LCL, import, and export processes.
- Experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer network and ability to develop new business opportunities.
- Willing to travel for customer visits and business meetings when required.
