Job description for Sales Executive at Walker Solutions
About the Role
We are building a team to support a field data collection project aimed at advancing artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This role is responsible for identifying, approaching, and establishing partnerships with business owners (retail, F&B, logistics, personal care/beauty, repair & maintenance, and similar businesses) who are willing to have their premises used for short recording sessions for AI research and development purposes.
Responsibilities
• Identify and map business locations according to priority categories (retail, F&B, logistics, personal care, automotive repair, etc.)
• Approach business owners or location managers directly and negotiate access permission for recording activities
• Clearly explain the purpose of the activity and maintain good relationships with location partners
• Coordinate with the recording team regarding schedules, technical requirements, and the duration of activities at each location
• Ensure the required number of locations and working-hour targets are achieved in accordance with the monthly targets
• Regularly report sourcing progress and on-site challenges to the coordinator
Qualifications
• Minimum D3/Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably Marketing, Communications, or Business)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident, and comfortable negotiating directly with business owners
• Proactive, target-oriented, able to work with KPIs, and capable of working independently in the field
• Good knowledge of Jakarta and surrounding areas; having a personal vehicle is an advantage
• Comfortable using a smartphone for reporting and team communication
