Job description for Sales Executive Alcohol - On Trade at PT Mitra Indo Maju

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive – On Trade to join the PT Mitra Indo Maju team in Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities for our imported alcohol products, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the On Trade channel, including hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, lounges, and cafés.

What you'll be doing

  • Prospecting and generating new leads through a range of sales activities within the On Trade/Horeca sector
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers in hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafés
  • Presenting and promoting our imported alcohol portfolio to potential customers
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals within your assigned territory
  • Ensuring product visibility, menu placement, promotional activities, and brand presence in On Trade outlets
  • Working closely with outlet teams to execute sales programs and activation initiatives
  • Achieving or exceeding individual and team sales targets
  • Providing excellent customer service and after-sales support
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments
  • Monitoring stock movement and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth product distribution

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development within the alcohol/beverage industry, preferably handling On Trade accounts
  • Strong network within the Horeca and nightlife industry
  • Good understanding of On Trade sales channels and customer management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with alcohol regulations and compliance requirements
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territor
