To promote and market concrete roof tiles, fittings and accessories in the field ; and to achieve, if not exceed, budgeted sales targets set with maximum profit margins and minimum credit risk in the retail and individual segments in West Java, Sumatra & Jakarta.
• To promote and market PT. Monier concrete roof tiles, fittings and accessories in the field ; and to achieve, if not exceed, budgeted sales targets set with maximum profit margins and minimum credit risk in the retail and individual segments in his/her respective area.
• To spend most of his time in the field attending to existing contractors / developers and prospecting for potential new customers ; To manage effectively his territory / to follow accurately his key customer accounts to ensure proper market coverage and key customer follow-up
• To quote and follow-up all daily enquiries ; To negotiate and secure order confirmation from customers ; To proactively seek new business opportunities and identify new needs and wants in the marketplace
• To follow the sales policy for his territory / customer segment (pricing, customer segmentation, credit & payment terms, safety and disciplinary procedures) as agreed with his Sales Manager
• To work with sales administration in order to ensure a smooth & correct treatment of orders until delivery
• To assist, with sales administration, the marketing department in order to maintain a comprehensive database of the target audiences and ensure that good communication is maintained with all categories at all time
• To be actively involved in collecting all outstanding accounts on time from customers
• To provide customers with product and technical support ; to consult with customer service department on problems or technical requirements ; To maintain, in relation with customer service department, the company tile stands and displays at distributors outlets ; When necessary, and in agreement with his direct sales manager, to organise product training or briefing to the customers personnel upon their request
• To maintain good and regular communication with other sales reps, sales administration, marketing manager
• To report on time and to handle with customer service department all customer quality complains for his segment
• To submit to his Sales Manager sales report using existing format, accurately and on time on sales activity, customers, competitors, economic and credit information & to advise of changing market conditions
• To constantly provide market feedback to management with updated information on competitors activities, inclusive of concrete roof tile products and other roofing materials
• To contribute to the formulation of the overall sales & marketing strategy and the yearly sales plans and budgets for his territory / segment
• To participate in stock-takes on a regular basis as and when required
• To conduct his duties following Monier Group policies (Principles of Action, Leadership profile)
• To uphold the image of the company and its brands within the marketplace
• Minimum Bachelor Degree from any educational background, civil engineering and architecture are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in direct selling approach or B2B in developer/ real estate construction industry, ideally in multinational company.
• Energetic, result and customer oriented.
