Job description for Sales Associate at Canggu Gym (Canggu 9ym)
Canggu 9ym is an affordable training center option for everyone that lives in Canggu area. We provide training/fitness machines, Muaythai training, conditioning area and recovery that incude; sauna, jacuzzi, and ice bath. Currently, we are developing our business and need someone who have the strong working spirit to join us!
1. Sales & Lead Conversion Drive Membership Sales:
- Sell gym memberships, day/week passes, personal training packages, and retail items to prospective clients.
- Lead Management: Follow up promptly on digital leads from Instagram, WhatsApp, and walk-ins using our meta tools.
- Facility Tours: Conduct energetic and engaging facility tours, highlighting key amenities, classes, and community perks.
- Outreach & Partnerships: Connect with local Canggu spots (villas, co-working spaces, cafes) to drive referral leads and corporate partnerships.
2. Customer Service & Community EngagementFirst Impressions:
- Greet every guest, member, and trainer with high energy and island-style hospitality.
- Member Retention: Check in with current members, foster an inclusive community vibe, and assist with renewals.
- Inquiry Handling: Answer questions regarding class schedules, personal training, membership terms, and facility policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality (experience in fitness, wellness, or premium retail is a strong plus).
- Language Skills: Fluent English is required (spoken and written) to interact with international digital nomads and expats. Indonesian (Bahasa) fluency is highly desirable.
- Communication & Tech: Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable using POS systems, WhatsApp Business, Instagram DMs, and basic CRM software.
- Mindset: Target-driven with a proactive sales approach—you like closing deals and building relationships.
- Passion for Fitness: Active interest in health, wellness, training, or community fitness events.
- Local Market Awareness: Familiarity with Canggu's lifestyle, expat community, and local hub dynamics. Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays on a shift schedule.
