Job description for Sales & Marketing Manager (Hair Appliances) at Confidential Company
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the annual sales and operating budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and achievement of financial objectives.
- Develop and execute annual strategic business development and sales plans to achieve corporate objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across retail and B2B channels.
- Set performance targets and manage team's progress and achievement of targets on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate the sales team to enhance sales effectiveness and expand the customer base.
- Drive new business acquisition while maximizing sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to create long-term business opportunities.
- Provide periodic reports to management on sales performance, business development activities, and key achievements.
- Oversee inventory planning to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing slow-moving inventory and product write-offs.
- Develop and execute B2B and retail marketing plans, including promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, and product launch activities to drive sales and brand growth.
- Stay abreast of market conditions, trends and competitor activity and provide regular feedback to the management for business improvement and growth opportunities.
- Manage customer credit limits and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables in accordance with the Company's credit policy.
- Ensure sales team comply with the Company's policies and procedures.

- Excellent negotiation and key account management skills with distributors, retailers, and business partners.
- Strong understanding of the hair appliances industry, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and drive sustainable revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in hair appliances, beauty devices, consumer electronics, or professional salon products
- Strong network within salon chains, distributors, and modern retail channels
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
