We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to expand our customer base and promote our precision metal fabrication services. This role is responsible for identifying and generating leads across multiple industries, including automotive, furniture, renewable energy, construction, heavy equipment, and consumer goods. The successful candidate will work directly with key decision-makers to deliver tailored solutions, close sales, and ensure the execution of projects from pitch to delivery.
Lead Generation and Sales:
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in various industries (furniture, renewable energy, heavy equipment, etc.).
Actively generate leads and move opportunities through the sales funnel to close deals and meet sales targets.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, challenges, and pain points.
Provide expert consultations to help customers identify the best metal components and solutions tailored to their needs.
Present technical proposals and value propositions that demonstrate how PT Matra Roda Piranti’s capabilities can add value.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and quality of proposed solutions.
Clearly articulate the technical specifications of products and services in an understandable and compelling manner.
Offer product demonstrations, create customized samples, and explain how PT Matra Roda Piranti can meet specific customer needs.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
Manage negotiations for pricing, delivery timelines, and terms with clients.
Prepare and present contracts, ensuring terms align with PT Matra Roda Piranti’s objectives and customer requirements.
Handle post-sale support and maintain long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Oversee the entire process from order placement to delivery, working closely with production teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.
Ensure clients receive regular updates on the status of their orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
Gather and relay feedback to improve processes, products, and customer satisfaction.
Market Research and Reporting:
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to proactively identify opportunities for business growth.
Provide detailed reports on sales activities, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or business development, ideally in manufacturing, industrial products, or metal fabrication.
Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques (CNC, welding, powder coating) and their applications across industries.
Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Experience in project management, coordinating across departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
Ability to adapt sales strategies for different industries and customer segments.
