Job description for RNO Engineer at ZMG Indonesia
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily radio network KPIs (2G/3G/4G/5G) using Huawei tools and Telkomsel systems.
- Analyze cell, cluster, and site performance to identify areas requiring optimization.
- Handle and resolve L1 issues related to coverage, capacity, interference, and radio parameters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports with optimization recommendations.
- Coordinate with drive test teams, NOC, and planning/optimization teams for issue resolution.
- Support the implementation of new Huawei features or parameter changes according to project requirements.
- Maintain an updated and standardized parameter database.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Radio Network Optimization (preferably with Huawei projects).
- Strong understanding of RF concepts (coverage, interference, handover, neighbor,throughput).
- Knowledge of mobile network KPIs and analysis methods.
- Proficiency in Huawei tools (PRBT, M2000/U2000, iManager, etc.) and analysis software (MapInfo, TEMS, or equivalent).
- Ability to work under pressure with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
