Job description for Revenue Manager at Veranda Hotels & Residences
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and overall hotel profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, demand patterns, and business performance.
- Manage room inventory, rate plans, restrictions, and distribution channels
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasts and reports.
- Analyze occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and other key performance indicators
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive demand during low-demand periods.
- Optimize OTA, GDS, direct booking, and other distribution channels
- Conduct regular revenue meetings and provide recommendations to management.
- Ensure rate parity and pricing accuracy across all booking platforms.
- Support budgeting and annual business planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles and distribution channels.
- Proficiency in PMS, RMS, Channel Manager, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
