Job description for Retail Buyer Officer at PT. Mega Perintis Tbk.

Job Description:

  • Analyze past sales data to forecast future product demand and plan inventory needs.
  • Set retail price points and determine timing for markdowns on slow-moving stock.
  • Research market trends and monitor competitor offerings to inform buying decisions.
  • Read and interpret inventory reports, margins, and sell-through rates to guide decisions.
  • Negotiate payment terms, discounts, and supplier agreements.
  • Understand target customer preferences to curate assortments that drive sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, or category management
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/data tools
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience
  • Good understanding of retail/customer trends and commercial awareness
  • Able to work cross-functionally with planning, marketing, and supply chain teams
  • Placement : Head Office (Karet Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan)
