Job description for Retail Associate at Playdress
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers, respond to queries and provide outstanding customer service
- Operate cash register, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
- Work as a team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
- Ensure shop cleanliness and tidiness throughout the sales floor
- Introduce promotions and upsell to customers
- Handle weekly new stock arrivals and inter-outlet transfers
- Assist in shop merchandise display whenever there are new arrivals or store promotions
Role expansion in future:
- Candidates who exhibit positive attitude and performance will be considered for promotion to senior and supervisory positions.
- Internal training will be provided to upgrade employees' skills in order to take on additional responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Candidate will need a minimum GCE N Level / O Level /ITE/Higher Nitec in any field
- A clean and tidy appearance
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays
- Required Skill(s): Customer service oriented, responsible and takes initiative
