The Guest Associate & Photographer is a versatile role responsible for delivering both exceptional customer service and high-quality photography/videography experiences to luxury resort guests. This position involves managing day-to-day operations, guiding guests through their booking and photoshoot journey, conducting professional photography/videography sessions, and ensuring all processes run smoothly from start to finish. The role is essential in providing a personalized, high-end experience that meets the standards of the Blu Canvas/Resortrait Program.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Management:
  • Oversee daily preparations, including system checks, reviewing the schedule, and confirming bookings.
  • Ensure that the photography studio or designated shoot areas are fully set up and meet program standards.

2. Guest Interaction and Assistance:
  • Warmly welcome guests and guide them through the entire experience, from booking to the photoshoot and post-session.
  • Provide clear and detailed information about available photography packages, ensuring guests fully understand the services offered.
  • Assist guests with any inquiries or requests during their session, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout.
  • Promote photography services by engaging guests, answering questions, and effectively presenting service offerings to secure bookings.
  • Maintained a professional and well-groomed appearance, contributing to the polished image of the team and organization.

3. Photography/Videography Sessions:
  • Conduct personalized, professional photoshoots and videography sessions that meet luxury standards.
  • Use creativity and technical expertise to capture high-quality images that reflect the unique moments of each guest’s stay.
  • Adapt to guest preferences and ensure they have a memorable experience during the session.

4. Sales and Upselling:
  • Promote additional services, including premium photo packages and products, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell guests on tailored products such as photo albums, digital content, or extended sessions.

5. Editing and post-production:
  • Curate, edit, and prepare photos and videos for guest viewing and delivery, maintaining the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with the editing team or handle basic post-production work to ensure timely and professional delivery.

6. Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other team members, including Guest Associates, Photographers, and Team Leaders, to coordinate guest bookings, session logistics, and operational tasks.
  • Participate in daily team briefings to review guest expectations and operational goals.

7. Administrative Duties:
  • Manage bookings, process payments, and maintain accurate guest records, ensuring smooth administrative operations.
  • Handle any guest follow-up or post-session inquiries, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly and professionally.

8. End-of-Day Procedures:
  • Complete end-of-day tasks, including cleaning and storing equipment, reviewing the day's activities, and preparing for the next day's operations.
  • Ensure all administrative work is completed, including updating guest records and session details.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service or photography, preferably within a luxury, boutique, or aviation hospitality (in-flight service) environment.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with an international clientele.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in photography and videography equipment, with a basic understanding of post-production tools (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
  • A strong eye for detail, creativity, and adaptability to meet guest expectations.
