Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to lead the operations of our exclusive beachfront boutique resort in Jembrana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a preference for those with expertise in room division operations. This role requires excellent leadership, financial acumen, and guest service skills to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily resort operations, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Lead and manage all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
  • Implement and monitor operational SOPs to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control strategies.
  • Maintain a strong presence on-site to engage with guests, address concerns, and foster positive guest relations.
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and revenue management strategies.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and local authorities to maintain smooth resort operations.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Excellent command of professional English (both verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a boutique or luxury resort setting.
  • Strong background in room division operations preferred.
  • Foster and exemplify high standards of integrity, work ethic, and accountability across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to adapt to a remote resort environment and engage with local communities.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree highly advantageous
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, revenue, and operational costs effectively.
  • Experience in handling guest relations and resolving issues with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of hospitality software and reservation systems.
