Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Front Office, Reception, Guest Service, or a similar position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Previous experience using a hotel Property Management System (PMS) is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a warm, friendly, and professional personality.
• Able to handle guest check-in, check-out, registration, payments, and other Front Office procedures accurately.
• Able to handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Able to provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, room types, rates, and local attractions when required.
• Able to handle telephone calls, messages, emails, and other guest communications professionally.
• Able to coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments.
• Flexible and able to respond appropriately to a wide range of guest needs and different work situations.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
• Able to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when working under pressure or during busy operational periods.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when handling guest information, reservations, payments, and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling, payment procedures, and Front Office financial controls is preferred.
• Able to maintain guest privacy and confidentiality and handle guest information responsibly.
• Energetic, positive, proactive, and service-oriented with a genuine desire to assist guests.
• Well-groomed, presentable, and able to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
• Willing to work shifts, including morning, evening, night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and other operational requirements.
• Able to follow hotel policies, SOPs, service standards, and instructions from supervisors.
• Good computer skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel systems.
• Able to join immediately or within a short notice period.
