Job description for Research Manager (APAC Area) at EMERHUB
- Fluent in English and Chinese - written (Simplified and Traditional) and spoken
- Excellent English writing skills – especially report writing
- Have Strong analytical skills
- Good managerial and leadership skills
- Have the ability to work in an environment where levels of work are constantly changing
- Have the ability to work remotely and manage remotely.
- Willing to travel to overseas especially to Hongkong
- Bachelor's degree (or above) from a reputable university
- Have experience in due diligence research methodology and tools, including public domain sources, and human sources management.
- Experience conducting quality control and content reviews
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office software, including Word
- Minimum of 5 years of research and due diligence project management experience
- Professional licenses - Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Manage end-to-end production (from initiation to completion) of due diligence projects by Asia Pacific Regional research teams
- Personally quality review high-end reports, and ensure all other Asia Pacific Region projects meet the high standards expected by the company and its clients.
- Ensure effective processes and systems are in place to facilitate the delivery of high-quality projects.
- Ensure sufficient resources and tools are in place to meet the volume demands for the company's products.
- Ensure team members are fully appraised of all matters and be informed about it promptly.
- Deliver regular management reports to regional and global managers on the production and delivery of projects.
- Assist with improvements to processes and delivery to better meet client expectations
- Manage the performance of each Asia Pacific research team together with the performance of individuals within each team.
- Train and guide research teams to build the capabilities and skills necessary for research activities.
- Be part of the recruitment process for Asia Pacific research teams
- Working with the Asia Pacific Region leads to achieving Asia Pacific Region's financial targets and strategic goals
