Job description for Research & Development & Regulatory (Food and Beverage Industry) at PT Chari Makmur Indonesia
Responsibilities:
● Staying up-to-date on food regulations and legislation (both national and international).
● Ensuring that all products, new formulations, and processes comply with relevant regulations.
● Preparing and submitting regulatory documents and applications.
● Working with R&D teams to develop new food products or improve existing ones.
● Evaluating the safety and stability of new ingredients and products.
● Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all R&D activities.
● Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
● Ensuring that product labels and packaging comply with labeling regulations.
● Working closely with other departments, such as quality control, production, and marketing.
● Communicating regulatory information to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science, chemistry or a related field
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in product development in the food & beverage industry
- Candidates with food safety training certification (HACCP, GMP, ISO) are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to relocate to Surakarta City
