Job description for R&D (Research and Development) at PT. Jayamas Medica Industri Tbk
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and formulation for new product development, particularly for disposable healthcare devices made from textile-based materials
- Analyze and optimize thread weaving processes using Air Jet Loom (AJL) machines to increase efficiency and product quality
- Conduct material testing and ensure final products meet healthcare device quality standards
- Prepare technical product documents, material specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Technical departments for scale-up from lab/research scale to mass production
- Ensure product development complies with Good Healthcare Device Manufacturing Practices (CPAKB) regulations
About you
- Minimum education: SMK (Vocational High School) from Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in R&D, preferably from textile, garment, or medical healthcare device industries. (fresh graduate are welcome)
- Operational understanding and knowledge of Air Jet Loom (AJL) machine parameters
- Knowledge of medical textile material characteristics (gauze, cotton thread, etc.)
- Understanding of ISO 13485 quality management system standards and CPAKB is an added value
- Innovative with strong analytical capabilities and detail-oriented
- Willing to be placed at Batang Plant, Central Java
