Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction company.
- Experience in residential, villa, hospitality, or commercial construction projects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project costing.
- Proficient in quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.
- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD.
- Experience using quantity surveying or estimating software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams.
Job Desk :
- Prepare quantity take-offs based on construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and project budgets.
- Review and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within the approved budget.
- Prepare and evaluate variation orders, additional works, and cost adjustments.
- Verify subcontractor progress claims and payment applications.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, Procurement Team, and Engineering Team regarding project costs and material requirements.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract administration.
- Prepare regular cost reports, project forecasts, and financial updates.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, contracts, variations, and project documentation.
- Support project closing by preparing final accounts and cost reconciliation.
