Job description for Quantitative Trader at Nogle Taiwan Limited 諾傑股份有限公司

The Role：
As a Quantitative Trader at Nogle, you will be well positioned to construct novel trades and refine existing strategies. Over time, a quantitative trader is expected to build a deep understanding of the nuances of exchanges and protocols in the crypto space. As your knowledge of the opportunity space grows, you will build automation and increasingly sophisticated analytics to evaluate or execute on new trading opportunities.

What You’ll Do：
1. Build on your previous research and trading experience to drive the profitability of a highly electronic trading operation.
2. Drive a rapid innovation cycle that produces demonstrable wins through the feedback loops of quantitative research/analysis, trading, post-trade analysis, and iterative workflows.
3. Conduct research and experiments to improve existing strategies and deploy new strategies that monetize opportunities in a constantly evolving market environment.
4. Build data-based tools and workflows to further systematize our approach to trading and risk management.
5. Apply quantitative research and modeling to solve core problems in order to set us up for flexibility and innovation in the medium to longer term.
6. Learn from an experienced team with a diverse knowledge base across trading, quant, and technology
7. Design innovative solutions to problems, with an emphasis on knowing if, how, and why they work, as well as the ability to explain this to stakeholder.

What We’re Looking For：
1. Professional Working Proficiency in English.
2. Quantitative trading knowledge and intuition within the crypto derivatives industry.
3. Strong analytical problem-solving skills including a solid foundation of statistics knowledge.
4. Proficiency in Python and analytics libraries such as Pandas and SQL, able to use these skills to manipulate large datasets and build lightweight tools for analysis.
5. Familiarity with market microstructure on various trading exchanges and understanding of crypto/financial markets.
6. Attention to detail, with capacity for creativity and effective collaborative/communication skills.
7. A desire to operate as part of a team of smart, highly driven peers, commensurate with our culture.
8. Ability to learn from mistakes and continuously improve.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all the disciplines in the firm.
