We are looking for a hands-on, highly detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to oversee our manufacturing standards directly on the factory floor. In this role, you will be the final authority on product delivery approval, working closely with our product and merchandising teams from the initial sampling stage all the way to final warehouse delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining strict consistency across our PU leather, hardware, and assembly lines, ensuring zero defective products reach our customers.

Job Descriptions:

  • Pre-Production Advisory: Utilize a strong sense of calculation and practical manufacturing knowledge to advise the merchandising team prior to the sampling process.
  • Material Inspection: Perform rigorous raw material checks on incoming supplies, including PU leather, inner lining, cardboard, sewing thread, magnets, barcode stickers, polybags, and master cartons.
  • Cutting Oversight: Oversee the cutting process by closely examining patterns, layout efficiency, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Assembly & Stitching Verification: Verify that glueing applications and stitching are clean, final dimensions match size specifications, and packaging complies with company standards.
  • Pre-Production Meetings (PPM): Conduct and coordinate PPM sessions alongside the merchandising team before mass production begins.
  • Requirement Compliance: Verify that all PPM requirements are fully satisfied and officially submitted for approval.
  • Preparation Review: Evaluate and review all necessary pre-production tools in accordance with company SOPs, including:

o QC Files

o Product Due Control (PDC)

o Pre-Production Samples (PPS)

  • In-Line Monitoring: Inspect every critical step of the production process from assembly to finishing.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential production bottlenecks or defects and respond swiftly to achieve intended quality outcomes.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep all quality documents up to date, write structured inspection reports, and deliver them promptly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Testing & Compliance: Comply with technical testing specifications and ensure all quality test reports are accurately completed.
  • Factory Training: Train factory production teams on updated standards, specific requirements, and sign-off protocols.
  • SOP Execution: Strictly execute and enforce internal quality SOPs across all partner manufacturing sites.
  • Claims & Complaints: Review, evaluate, and help settle any quality-related claims or factory complaints.
  • Final Inspection: Conduct final random inspections in strict accordance with AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) standards.
  • Order Compliance: Ensure partner factories strictly follow Working Orders and style instructions regarding PO numbers, SKU names, quantities, colors, constructions, measurements, trims, and packaging.
  • Vendor Partnership: Maintain constructive working relationships with factory partners through active guidance and collaboration. (Note: If a factory experiences recurring defects, the QC is required to stay on-site for 1–2 weeks to provide intensive oversight).

Job Requirements:

1. Maximum age of 28 years old.

2. Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or above.

3. Preferably holds an educational background in Industrial Engineering or related manufacturing fields.

4. Possessing a relevant quality certification (such as IGTC or equivalent manufacturing QA/QC credentials) is a strong advantage.

5. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working as a Quality Control inspector in a manufacturing or production factory environment.

6. Mastery of established quality control systems (including the 4-point inspection system, AQL sampling, and Major/Minor Defect Classification).

7. Strong practical knowledge of synthetic materials (PU leather), hardware components, and assembly/stitching techniques.

8. Proven skill in production data analysis and root-cause problem solving.

9. Hands-on experience across various product manufacturing and assembly processes.
