Job description for Quality Assurance at Bitlabs

We Will Rely On You For :
Define, build, and maintain test plans, test scenarios,  test cases, and test plans.
Execute test cases and create and maintain accurate documentation regarding completed test cases. Identify and log system incidents and defects and retest fixes.
Work with developers and customer service, to identify/resolve issues with system changes
Finds bugs and input these issues clearly and concisely into the bug database.
Contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes and procedures based on best practice methodology.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in all phases of the SDLC to ensure solutions fulfill the highest possible quality, performance, usability, and supportability criteria

Desirable Skills
1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
Previous experiences on bootstrapping QA on a new initiative
Must have background work experience work in a startup
Proactive person
Strong analytical skills, highly organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner
Passion for quality, detail-oriented, and know-how to break the software by finding bugs
Experience with test management and defect tracking systems such as Jira, TestRail, Asana, etc.
Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia
Experience in Git-based source control tools like GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket
Nice to haves
Have experience in both UI Automation (Selenium Web /Appium/Cypress) and API Automation (REST Assured)
