Job description for Quality Assurance Supervisor at PT ASIA PRIMA KONJAC
About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor at PT Asia Prima Konjac, you will be responsible for managing quality assurance activities to ensure products consistently meet food safety regulations and customer expectations. This position includes overseeing quality documentation, product sample preparation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality across our FMCG and trading business.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation of product samples according to customer requests.
- Review and verify technical documents, including Product Specifications, MSDS, Halal Certificates, and Product Information.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as Marketing, Export, and other related teams, as well as external suppliers when required.
- Collaborate with the Food Safety team to ensure food safety requirements are properly implemented.
- Monitor documentation and reporting activities to ensure accuracy and timely submission to management.
- Ensure all quality systems and documentation comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Food Technology.
- At least 3 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Research & Development, or Laboratory functions.
- Good command of English, both written and verbal.
- Strong sensory evaluation capability.
- Detail-oriented, assertive, and experienced in supervising operational processes and teams.
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional departments.
