Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Quality Assurance (QA); experience as a QA Engineer is a plus.
- Experience in the Life Insurance industry with a strong understanding of life insurance products.
- Proven experience in creating, executing, and managing test cases based on test scripts.
- Familiarity with query languages (SQL or similar) to validate data in databases.
- Experience using Postman or similar tools to validate and test API data.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including analyzing data communication through browser Developer Tools or similar debugging tools.
- Understanding of QA automation concepts, methodologies, and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience in setting up, configuring, and executing load testing and stress testing scenarios.
- Willing to work onsite at the client’s office.
- Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing.
Job Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test scripts for delivered projects to ensure product quality meets enterprise-level standards.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and database testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct data validation and system verification using databases, APIs, and debugging tools.
- Execute load testing and stress testing to evaluate system performance and stability.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers (PM), Business Analysts (BA), Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
- Support test automation initiatives to improve testing coverage and efficiency.
- Prepare testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
- Ensure all deliverables meet business requirements, functional specifications, and quality standards before release.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in enterprise-level application testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of automation frameworks and scripting languages is an advantage.
