•QA Lead - Payment Gateway
Own the quality strategy across our payment gateway products (web, mobile, API). Hands-on leadership role — you’ll still write Cypress tests, but you’re accountable for how the entire QA function approaches quality. Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ship reliable releases.
What You’ll Do
• Define and own QA strategy, standards, and processes across web, mobile, and API
• Lead and mentor QA engineers; run 1-on-1s, performance reviews, hiring
• Architect and maintain the test automation framework (Cypress as core stack)
• Drive automation coverage and balance manual vs automated testing
• Establish bug triage, severity, and reporting via Jira
• Own release readiness: exit criteria, regression scope, production sign-off
• Partner with EMs, PMs, and Dev Leads on quality gates and risk assessment
• Define and report QA metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage, bug MTTR, escape rate)
Must Have
• 5+ years QA/QE, 1–2+ years in lead/senior role
• Strong manual and automated testing across web, mobile, API
• Hands-on Cypress (required); Postman/Newman a plus
• Solid grasp of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with Jira for bug tracking & sprint management
• Track record mentoring QA engineers
• Strong English communication; agile/scrum environment
• Able to join immediately (preferred)
Nice to Have
• Fintech/payments or regulated/high-availability domain experience
• Performance testing (JMeter, k6, Locust) and security testing basics
• Docker/Kubernetes
