Job description for QA Intern at Leverate Group
Requirements:
- Minimum D3/S1 (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 0–2 years (fresh graduates with strong portfolio are welcome)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
- Basic understanding of how web applications work (frontend, backend, API, database)
- Able to write clear, reproducible bug reports (steps to reproduce, expected vs actual, screenshots)
- Comfortable using browsers, inspecting network requests, and reading error messages
- Good written communication
- Willingness to learn fast and ask questions when something is unclear
What You'll Do:
- Write and execute manual test cases for web and mobile features based on PRDs and design specs
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, and smoke testing on each release
- Log and track bugs with clear documentation in the project management tool
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, verify, and close defects
- Participate in sprint planning to understand upcoming features and identify test scenarios early
- Maintain and organize the test case library so it stays current with product changes
- Assist in basic API testing using Postman to verify backend endpoints
- Communicate test results and blockers in daily standups and sprint reviews
