QA Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and manage automation tests in terms of functionality, security, and performance for websites, mobile apps & backend services from scratch
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Comfortable to reach out team as needed to clarify or communicate about running systems or apps
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Provide test execution results and regular reports on testing
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced in manual testing and automation testing
• Minim. 2 years’ experience in QA Engineering, software development, or related field
• Understand the basics of making ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) and UML
• Able to understand the business process of a system quickly
• Mastering the concept of Software Testing and system integration
• Familiar with testing methodologies like Blackbox, etc.
• Familiar with automation testing tools such as Selenium, etc.
• Able to create User Manual Documentation
• Having excellent communication skills
