Job description for QA Engineer at Talent Tech
Requirements – QA Tester
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and Manual Testing.
- Experienced in creating test cases/scenarios, regression testing, UAT, deployment testing, and pilot testing.
- Proficient in Postman for API testing, transaction simulation, and RESTful API/microservices integration validation.
- Skilled in SSH access, Linux/Unix commands, and server-side log analysis to trace transactions, validate requests/responses, and investigate system errors.
- Familiar with backend technologies, including Golang, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift, including container logs and inter-service communication.
- Able to analyze business requirements, document bugs clearly, and troubleshoot issues.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, communicative, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
Nice to Have:
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing and advanced API testing.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
