Job description for QA Engineer at PT. Terra Code Labs
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications by creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring seamless product releases.
As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for manual testing, automation testing, and continuously improving our testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Tester.
- Proficiency in manual testing and ability to create detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Strong experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report issues clearly.
- Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
