Job description

At Sampingan, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. We count on our QA Lead to lead end-to-end testing efforts within a product team and aid them in building a quality product. You will collaborate with Software Developer and Product Manager to discuss and understand the product and domain in detail and work out the test strategy and test cases sign-off processes with stakeholders. Best yet, with your expertise in the field, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, improving their abilities to work efficiently and independently, and pointing them in the right direction.
What you will do:
Working closely with the product team which includes PM, Designers, Developers, and QA right from the inception of features. Design new and enhance existing test suites based on business requirements;
Executing the test cases and report relevant issues to the concerned stakeholders;
Owning communication throughout the sprint/release cycle and the quality of features and the delivery of the entire feature;
Designing, implementing, & maintaining functional test automation at different product layers, viz. service and UI layers;
Analyzing, debugging and fixing the automated tests on a daily basis and raise defects accordingly;
Analyzing the testing process, release cycle, testing tools & technologies and suggesting improvements;
Setting up test automation frameworks for products across Backend, Android, and Web;
Understanding the business and product requirements as related to payments and the existing service architecture. Gain a deeper understanding of the domain
What you need to have:
Should have at least 4 years of experience in professional testing and familiarity withService based architecture;
Hands-on in API testing techniques and tools like Postman and working knowledge of mobile testing;
Hands-on in test automation using any language;
Experience in testing framework, pytest, Go testing, Mocha, and JUnit;
Familiarity and knowledge about CI/CD tools Gitlab CI or Github Action;
Understanding of core business logic, algorithms, datasets and able to perform low-level system and data analysis;
Working knowledge of SCM (Git) and experience with open source automation libraries;
Strong command in OOPs concepts including design patterns, clean code, refactoring
