Job description for QA Engineer – Automation Testing at ADW Consulting
We're looking for a QA Engineer – Automation Testing to Responsible for ensuring product quality through functional testing, automation testing, regression testing, and continuous improvement of the QA process throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contribute to architecture and planning alongside the Tech Lead, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software QA, or Automation QA Engineer, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Prepare test strategy, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts.
• Identify test cases that are suitable and valuable for automation.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst, Developers, Product Owner, and other stakeholders.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support defect resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipeline and integration of automated testing.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and testing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders in English.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
What We are Looking for:
• Experience as a QA Engineer, Software QA, Automation QA Engineer, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in at least one automation framework/tool such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
• Programming/scripting skills in at least one language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with API Testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience working on projects with international stakeholders is an advantage.
Must Have: Strong Automation Testing + Programming/Scripting + API Testing + Agile + Fluent English.
