Job description for QA Automation Engineer at PT Digital Tech Asia

About the Role

Our client, an Insurance Company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright and/or Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of their applications.

Responsibilities

Review and understand system requirements and specifications.
Create and maintain automated test cases using Playwright and Cypress.
Execute automated tests and analyze the results.
Perform functional, regression, and post-implementation testing.
Identify, document, and report bugs to the development team.
Re-test issues after they are fixed.
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other teams.
Ensure applications meet business and system requirements.
Maintain test documentation and reports.
Follow company procedures and QA standards.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a QA / Software Tester.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress.
Good understanding of software testing and SDLC.
Experience creating test cases and reporting bugs.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Insurance/Banking/Financial Services experience is a plus.
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, API Testing, Git, or CI/CD is a plus.
