Job description for QA Automation Engineer at Bythen
Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by developing and executing automated test scripts, as well as conducting thorough testing and quality checks. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, implement testing procedures, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test plans and test cases.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
3. Perform automated functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
4. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and specifications.
5. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the quality and performance of the software.
6. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on product design and usability.
7. Continuously improve automated testing processes and procedures.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
9. Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer with a focus on automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong knowledge of automated & manual software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test plans and test cases.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
