Purchasing

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handle the purchasing process for goods and services based on company/project requirements.
2. Source, compare, and evaluate vendors based on price, quality, and delivery time.
3. Request quotations and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best terms.
4. Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure the purchasing process follows company procedures.
5. Monitor order status, delivery, and receipt of goods.
6. Coordinate with users, Logistics, Finance, and vendors regarding purchasing requirements.
7. Ensure the completeness of purchasing documents and vendor administration.
8. Source and develop a database of new vendors.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum Diploma (D3) degree in any field.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in a project, oil & gas, or engineering company.
3. Good understanding of purchasing processes, negotiation, and vendor evaluation.
4. Ability to compare prices and prepare purchasing reports.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
6. Proficiency speaking English & Hokkien - Conversational Level
7. Available to work on-site at Pekanbaru.
