Job description for Purchasing Supervisor at PT Patha Works Indonesia
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise end-to-end purchasing activities for materials, packaging, spare parts, and operational needs.
- Monitor POs, outstanding orders, material shortages, and supplier deliveries.
- Manage, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and payment terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.
- Lead and monitor the Purchasing team and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare purchasing and supplier performance reports.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum D3/S1 in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Supervisor/Coordinator is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management, material planning, and inventory.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; ERP experience is a plus.
- Footwear manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Able to work with targets and handle dynamic production requirements.
