Job description for Purchasing Staff (Mandarin Speaker) at PT. Selalu Sukses Prima
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Staff to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services required by the company, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Candidate must be fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with overseas suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requests and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, compare quotations, and negotiate terms.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers for inquiries, follow-ups, and negotiations.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams.
- Ensure that goods received are in line with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a must.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good analytical ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and procurement systems.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Placement in South Tangerang.
