Job description for Purchasing Officer at Kosong Satu Group
Job Summary:
Baliprod (one of Kosong Satu Group brand) is looking for a Purchasing Officer that responsible for ensuring that Purchase Orders are raised and approved, goods and services are received and orders are receipted in a complete, accurate and timely manner. The Purchasing Officer is expected to liaise with suppliers across the business (Film Production) to align the purchasing process with sales objectives and overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research potential vendors.
- Source and purchase all production-related materials, equipment, and services needed for the project, including props, costumes, sets, special effects materials, lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with internal Production Team and Equipment Manager to define procurement needs and quality requisites.
- Work with different departments (set design, wardrobe, props, art, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into procurement requirements.
- Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
